Michigan Alliance for Families provides information, support, and education for families who have children (birth through 26 years of age) who receive (or may be eligible to receive) special education services.

The WISD Special Education Department provides services and programs to support the efforts of 9 local school districts, 14 private school academies and 20 private schools.

Washtenaw ISD – Parent Advisory Committee

The Parent Advisory Committee is a group of parents of children with disabilities. Members are recommended by their public school agency for appointment by the WISD School Board. We discuss special education programs, issues and ideas on how to be of assistance to parents.
